Krisha Sunil Khaturia
Founder and School Head
KRISHA SUNIL KHATURIA, a name to reckon with, has done her Bachelor of Arts from Bombay University, and majored in Sociology. She is a product of the esteemed Alexandria Girls’ English Institute. She then did a Diploma in Fashion Designing from India International Training Centre [IITC], Mumbai in August 1993.

It was in 1998, that she found her true passion when she acquired the Association Montessori International [AMI] from the Ratan Tata Institute [RTI], Mumbai. Thus qualified she started working as a teacher of the Montessori Method at Activity Infant School. She worked here for 9 long years, from September 1998 to November 2011. Here she was also given the opportunity to work with a few autistic and dyslexic children.
​
She was then quickly sourced and absorbed by Dhirubai Ambani International School, where she worked for the next 3 years….and left only to start her own institute with this huge bag of experience under her belt. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to conduct various educational field trips to different kitchens, factories that produce tooth brushes, shirts and carrom boards. As well as overnighters for the age group of 5 to 7 years to Pune and Lonavala. She strongly believes that LEARNING IS FUN.

​She has been running ART and CRAFT classes and has held many exhibitions displaying pottery products, diyas and envelopes for the festive season.
She has brought up her own child to become an international level Chess Player. Needless to say you will be putting your child in perfect hands!

Avril Colaco
Montessori Directress
After a career of over a decade as a Corporate Learning & Development professional, excelling in Content Creation, Avril stepped into the field of Montessori right after the birth of her first baby girl.
She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Instructional Design from Symbiosis Pune and an internationally recognised Montessori Certification from the Association Montessori Internationale.

Prior to joining Bella Escuela as a Directress in our 3 - 6 year environment, she was a Directress at Harmony Montessori for two years where she worked with children in the 0-3 age group as well.
With her combined experience in both Andragogy and Pedagogy, it is clear that nothing excites her more than the process of learning.
As a mother of two, Avril believes that Montessori is a 'Way of Life' that goes beyond the classroom. She is keen to support parents in this fascinating journey of discovering each child's unique and true potential.

Ritu Shah
Montessori Directress
Ritu has been working with children in the 0-3 years age group for more than 14 years.
After obtaining her Diploma from the Association Montessori Internationale she worked in Montessori classrooms at The Activity Infant School, Da Vinci Montessori and Saplings Montessori.
Ritu further trained to obtain certifications from AMI in Assistants to Infancy and from IIMS on The Principles and Practices of The Montessori Infant Education.
During her tenures as a toddler guide she set up classrooms, conducted workshops and guided parents.
​
Prior to teaching Ritu was a practicing advocate at the Bombay High Court with a background in banking at HSBC.
The birth of her daughter lead her to Montessori education and from then on there has been no looking back.
The unique developmental needs of this youngest age group of children is a continuing source of motivation and joy for her.
